Beauty can be compared and there is just a little bit of prejudice against high-profile and glamorous evenings in my heart, and this is that.
Life of an average girl revolves around beauty. Satisfaction is almost impossible to achieve. There's always someone ready to overshadow your presence. But Imagine if different celebrities on the red carpet felt conscious about their appearance, What if that they felt little in front of the other glamorous celebrities too. Then all of them must feel insecure inside because as a matter of fact, there is no exact standard of beauty. No one can be like the other, Just like them, everyone is beautiful or has the potential for beauty in his/her own right. It's best to grow out of the superficial aspirations. It's best to be in an absolute harmony with yourself. It's your attitude that sets you apart from the rest of the world. It's your belief in yourself , and your decision to walk in with unchallenged confidence in yourself that matters the most.
I am sick of the beauty-centered judgements that we make which come full circle one day leaving us on the judged end of it, feeling little. I am appalled by the need to categorize our compliments into different categories of beautiful dress, face, body . Isn't a person, who is not bothered by the need to touch up her features, who accepts herself in the least manufactured way, inspiring? Aren't some people just a beautiful mess in the way they cannot handle a dress? Aren't the people who are not obsessed with the idea of beautiful, refreshing? Isn't the need to shift our focus, real?

Disclaimer : Here on the same blog I have written a post about '10 most beautiful women of Pakistan'  and I have now removed the ranking, realizing it is wrong of me. Beauty in people should not be compared. It belittles them.
