The green monster of Envy.

Those who compare their happiness to others' will never be truly happy. That happiness is elusive. You will always have something to compete against. There is a wise saying that the only reason you should look in your neighbor's plate should be to make sure that he has enough (and never to compare). I feel for the jealous. They're not necessarily bad, just mistaken about who they should be. And their suffering is a fruit of their own misguided ambitions.
Trouble is only they can spare themselves and disentangle the knots in their minds.
Because by being self-satisfied and content, you're doing more of a favor to yourself than the people whose happiness presents you with a challenge to feel 'as happy'.

Everybody needs to feel free, and be happy in his own skin.
