Of course, the jokes reflect the collective mindset of a society. Even the jokes in Pakistan are misogynistic. Mostly the men fantasising about 72 virgins or being afraid of their wives for their life. The prospect of men getting beaten up by their wives is a joke. There are no jokes about virgin men, or women getting beaten up by their husbands. First is a taboo. Second is nearer to being a truth than a joke. And thus. There is utter silence on the front where there is place for ridicule of men.
