On humanity and taking sides.

It's a crime to remain neutral in the time of Crisis, but is it? When Palestine is on fire, Western Media assumes silence on the matter. At best they are 'neutral' about it. That's no surprise. News is defined by perspective always, it is defined by the narrative of the country, its foreign policy . After every catastrophe, trend of posts is predictable. Today, I see people wilfully diverting the attention from Paris attacks by posting about the similar incidences in Baghdad and Lebanon that they say no one cares about. I saw many Hollywood celebrities coming under fire for standing up for Gaza when Israel continued its brutality shamelessly without being held accountable for it. It's just like everyone, everywhere in the world wants to prove a point and in fact no one gives a rat's a*s about humanity. Like people who die are pawns in a game, it hurts only when we lose our pawns. It's always about sticking up for your side. Muslims like to dissociate themselves from the islamic terrorists without giving much thought to the question that what is it that motivates them, thus staying inflexible about their beliefs. Western countries keep turning a blind eye towards the atrocitites committed by their allies, and they are very biased in their reporting as well. To everyone, associations matter, sticking up for his own side matters. That's the only loyalty, the dominant sentiment.
