Oh well. Is it necessary to lash out? If we want someone to understand us , wouldn't we be accommodating of their opinion too? Wouldn't we choose the tone that we know will appeal to them? Wouldn't we talk like a sweet person, generally?
Then what is this need to lash out, occassionally.
Just like your body needs to get rid of its toxins, sometimes your mind wants to rid itself of its own toxins. Sometimes you want to show people up for their hypocrisy. Sometimes you want to be 'in your face' for the world.
Being nice is not for all of us. I don't think its important either. I think what's more important is being fair. I think being a good human being is naturally an off-shoot of that. The thing is that being fair and being bitter, being a tough pill to swallow for the world, it usually goes hand in hand. So It's really a tough balance to strike. I think you can let people have their say about anything. But you should not be accommodating of unfairness to another person. Even if that comes at the cost of your 'image'.
