Enough people are put in guilt about cheating , but not enough people are in guilt about inflicting emotional abuse and hostile behavior on their partners for a lifetime. When that shit comes up, people would regard it as a personal matter of two people. When it happens around them in living rooms and out on the roads  and in the family gatherings, they look away.  When they see someone being visibly snubbed by another person and their entire personality changing because of undue pressure by a partner, they act like its a fair game. But when it comes to cheating, the entire country will jump on the bandwagon to name and shame a person. The way society treats relationships, accepting ugliness in some ways and rejecting it in others , is just horribly skewed.
