Ok, so this post better be very specific:

If you are not good at something, you treat it as a mountain-like task, but then you do it and sometimes the task is not mountain-size. It's a mound-size task, and it was the hesitation that built the tiny bricks of doubt into this insurmountable barrier that has now begun to define your identity.

You kind of have to break free from it. Sometimes, it is not the task itself, but the decision to break free from it, which is the decisive  important step to take. 

I feel this way because of my long-standing hesitation around the procedures which are done in internal medicine.
