On self help books

One topic that nearly all self help books avoid ( I don't know whether deliberately or not) is the acknowledgement of evil amongst us. They tell you How touching it is it that you can win people's heart by paying heed to them and the many strategies that go into that. They tell you that the road to success starts from self mastery and discipline. I realize they are intended well but what does their corporate wisdom have to say about dealing with people who you know are  bad , the ones who mistreat others, the people who cheat  , the people inflicting injustice on those who are less privileged than them ?  Why does the monk not choose to run them over with his Ferarri ? ( Disclaimer : I do not believe any crime except murder or enabling of it should be punished with death )  And why is standing up for justice not an effective 8th habit ? All those Tuesdays with Morris and he never told the account of having to confront a person for his injustice? Is life all about making peace with yourself? Is it really not self service to see the world in beautiful hues when there is a lot of ugliness which goes hand in hand?
