Do
we always need to argue that who is right and who is wrong? When
someone hurts you, when he hurts you about your weakest point and sits
with you to 'clear things out' ..He's going to talk about it. Which
means he will probably justify it. He will tell you where you went wrong
which made him do what he did. And you feel different suddenly. While you
were sure of being right before, you were hurting inside
like a bleeding heart but now someone's 'putting things into
perspective'. Your heart is softening and you find yourself willing to
'let it go' and be the same again.
Then sometimes, it becomes a habit with everyone. They use your flexibility to their advantage. They know exactly where to hit which will hurt the most. Then they know exactly what to say, to get away with it later on.
Then it becomes unnecessary to argue. Or clear things out.
Sometimes you should reserve your right to feel sad . angry. and hostile. Sometimes you owe that to yourself to not forgive.

very unlike of a doctor's writing :)
ReplyDeleteThere's no label or barrier on a doctor's thoughts :-)
ReplyDeleteyou believe in second chances?
ReplyDeleteIt depends on the situation and extent of hurt faced.
DeleteIs it hard to be wise and brave?
DeleteIt is very hard to be brave. Sometimes it takes every bit of your strength.
Deletewhat if being brave takes away a part of us...should we let that happen?
DeleteBeing brave is not going to be easy on you. But if you are that person who stands up for himself, his principles and the people around, You've got to be brave even if it takes away a part of you, everyday.
DeleteI meant that if such a situation comes in which you have to decide whether you'd want to put on an apparent cloak of bravery that unknowingly hurts someone and on the other hand you can follow your heart to its way......what will you do?
DeleteI don't understand how your putting on a show of bravery would hurt someone? Bravery is not even a pretense, it is an inbred character.
DeleteIf only you would be more precise?
